Defect, Feature, Suggestion Information |
Advanced
Defect Tracking stores defects, features or suggestion information
by version. It also allows you to assign a particular employee
to that defect, as well as give it a status, and a problem
type. To learn how to enter basic defect information follow
the steps below:

| 1)
From Advanced Defect Tracking select View, Defects. |
| 2)
Select Actions, Add Record. |
| 3)
Use the Version dropdown to select the product version this
defect was noted in. You may also wish to enter a date that
this defect was noted. |
| 4)
If this defect has been resolved, select the version it was
fixed in from the Fixed in Version dropdown. If you wish you
can also enter a date for when the defect was resolved. |
| 5)
Enter a Title and additional notes for the defect. |
6)
If you wish, you can assign the defect to an employee entered
in the employees view. Select the employee assigned to the defect
from the Assigned To dropdown.
