When you are ready to begin a new version of a Product, it is helpful to see what defects, features etc. are still not closed. To see opened defects for a particular product follow these steps:

1) From Advanced Defect Tracking select Reports, Opened Defects by Product.
2) From the left hand list select the Product(s) you wish to report on.
3) Select the defect status(es) you wish to see in the report.
4) Choose a date range to filter defects by. If you wish to see all defects set a very wide date range to include all dates possible for when a defect could have been entered.
5) Review your selections.
6) Click Ok.
7) The report shows opened defects by Product.
