Advanced
Defect Tracking stores defects, features or suggestion information
by version. It also allows you to assign a particular employee
to that defect, as well as give it a status, and a defect
type. To learn how to enter basic defect information follow
the steps below:
1. From Advanced Defect Tracking select Defects from the menu.
2. Select Add New Defect.
3. Use the Version dropdown to select the product version this defect
was noted in.
4. Enter a Title and additional notes for the defect.
5. If you wish, you can assign the defect to an employee entered
in the employees view. Select the employee assigned to the defect
from the Assigned To dropdown.
6. Repeat steps 1-6 to enter additional defects.
