Custom
Terminology is accessed by selecting Tools, Options. Here
you can set your own terms for items in Advanced Precision
Estimating. The following terms are available to be changed:

| 1)
Customer/Customers – These two terms can be changed to
fit your organization (i.e. Client, Clients). |
| 2)
Estimate/Estimates – These two terms can be changed to
fit your organization (i.e. Estimate, Estimates). |
| 3)
Catalog/Catalogs – These two terms can be changed to fit
your organization (i.e. Product List, Product Lists). |
| 4)
Estimate Fields – There are six estimate fields available.
The name you give these six fields reflects itself in the six
custom fields of the Estimate Properties Dialog Box. (e.g. changing
Estimate Field 1 to “Description” will give you a
Description field in the Estimate Properties Dialog Box. |

note that when you modify the terminology you will not see the
changes until the software is restarted. |
